Admission System Thesis Chapter 1 is for student into the college in every incoming first year in IT department in which student register and set their schedules to take their qualifying exam in IT department.
Some of the goals of the system are: to manage Registration, Manage Schedule, Manage Qualifying exam and Generate Report. The Carlos Hilado Memorial State College the entrance exam of students in this system school has difficult to take because their system is manual.
The current issue of incoming first year in IT department is the difficulty of taking qualification exam because of heavier paper works and processing challenges it is also hard to notify them about their schedules.
The motivation behind this Document for IT Freshmen Student Admission System is to make registration easier and for taking the qualification exam more easily it is also preserve all the information of the students or reports. Today all the work at a time of admission of the students is done by system.
Objectives of the Study Admission System for IT Freshmen Thesis
The goal of the project was to develop CHMSC Binalbagan IT Freshmen Admission System to the time for the incoming first year applicant to apply.
Specific Objectives
1. To develop the Admission System for IT Students with following features:
- Registration
- scheduling
- Qualifying exam
- Reports
2. To evaluate the usability of the system based on the following parameters using PSSUQ questionnaire.
- system usefulness
- information quality
- interface quality
Scope and Limitations
The scope and limitations of admission system are Registration, Scheduling, Qualifying exam, Interview results and generate reports. This system covers IT student freshmen only that will register in the IT department.
Within the system’s scheduling, student set their desired schedule to take the qualifying exam and the admin will confirm their scheduled if there is an available slot. If the desired scheduled has no more available slot the admin will reschedule the student’s schedule.
This Documentation for Student Admission System has no SMS notification or email to notify the student of their schedule. The student will need to login to see if the admin has already confirmed their schedule. Qualifying covers only the answer sheet and automatic scoring.
This system will not able to make questioner nor display them because this system will manage only the answer key. For the interview system will only receive the interview score.
In maintenance, the admin will able to manage the criteria and academic year. Lastly, under the reports this system will get the all the list of examinees where it can be rank and printed.
Significance of the Study
The Students- The direct recipients of the output of this research are the children with special needs. Any improvement of classroom management technique can pave the way of producing better learning and discipline to survive and thrive in the society.
The Admin- This study will be used as basis for implementing the raised curriculum and on how to enhance the learning process for the 21st Student Generation of learners.
Future researcher- The future researcher can get sources from the proposed study and it can also use this study as their sample study guide for their future researches that is also related to their system analysis and design project.
Researcher- The researcher can also gain significance in this study. They would improve their skill, strategy, and knowledge in engaging research.
Definition of Terms
For the clarification of the common understanding, the key word that has been used in this study will be defined as follow:
Registration- The student registers through online. In this study, act where student’s fill-up the form without any hassle and they qualified to proceed the next step.
Scheduling- the student can set their available schedule for taking qualifying exam and wait for the admin confirmation. In this study, where student set their scheduled about taking their qualifying exam.
Reports- A report is a document that presents information in an organized format for a specific audience and purpose. In this study, show all the examinee list of the students about admission system.
Functionality- The ability to perform a task or function with no difficulties. In this study, refers to the functions of the chmsc-bin it freshmen admission system.
