hasClass() Checkin the selected elements have a
specified class name
addClass() Adding one or more class names to the selected
element
after() Inserting content after the selected element
append() Inserting content at the end of the selected element
appendTo() Inserting HTML elements at the end of the selected
element
attr() set or return attributes/values of the selected
element
before() Inserting content before the selected element
clone() Create a copy of selected element
css() It will set or return one or more style properties
for selected element
detach() It will remove selected elements (keeps data and
events)
empty() It will remove all child nodes and content from selected
element
height() It will set or return the height of selected element
html() It will set or return the content of selected element
innerHeight() It will return the height of an element (includes
padding, but not border)
innerWidth() It will return the width of an element (includes
padding, but not border)
insertAfter() It will insert HTML elements after selected
element
insertBefore() will insert HTML elements before selected
element
offset() It will set or return the offset coordinates for selected
elements (relative to the document)
offsetParent() It will return the first positioned parent
element
prepend() Inserting content at the beginning of the selected
element
prependTo() Inserting HTML elements at the beginning of selected
element
prop() It set or return properties/values of selected
element
remove() Removing the selected elements (including data and
events)
outerHeight() It will return the height of an element (includes
padding and border)
outerWidth() It will return the width of an element (includes
padding and border)
position() It will return the position (relative to the parent
element) of an element
removeAttr() It will remove one or more attributes from selected
element
removeClass() It will remove one or more classes from selected
element
removeProp() It will remove a property set by the prop()
replaceAll() It will replace selected elements with new HTML
element
replaceWith() It will replace selected elements with new
conten
scrollLeft() It will set or return the horizontal scrollbar
position of selected element
scrollTop() It will set or return the vertical scrollbar position of
selected element
text() It set or return the text content of selected element
toggleClass() It will toggle between adding/removing one or more
classes from selected element
unwrap() It will remove the parent element of the selected
element
val() It will set or return the value attribute of the
selected elements (for form elements)
width() It will set or return the width of selected element
