11-CSS Padding Properties

The CSS padding properties are used to generate space around content written in a paragraph or a block in a web page.

CSS has different paddings available:

  • padding-top
  • padding-right
  • padding-bottom
  • padding-left

 

Example:

  1. <h2>padding Shorthand Property:</h2>
  2. This is a paragraph which has no specified padding. A simple paragraph only
  3. <p class="property">This paragraph has a top and bottom padding of 60px, a left padding of 90px and a right padding of 40px.</p>
